Our HCLO Patent & Technology

​

Despite hypochlorous acid (HCLO) having all the characteristics of being a superior disinfectant for bacteria and viruses, it has not been so popular for general use, because it was difficult to produce, unstable, and hard to store.

 

Our patented technology has resolved all the known drawbacks of HCLO.  Our process can produce pure and stable HCLO water, safely, easily, with prolonged storage life. Furthermore, the ingredients are natural.

Our technology is registered in Japan on December 2, 2021 under Patent No. 6986797. We are currently patent pending with the rest of the World, and are protected under International Patent Cooperation Treaty.

Our patented technology is comprehensive and covers the following three areas: 

​

1) method of producing new generation HCLO water by means of electrolysis with patented formulae.

Clients can choose their a) desired pH level between 4.8 to 6.5,  b) desired available free chlorine (AFC) concentration between 35ppm to 100ppm (or even outside this range, i.e. 300ppm).  Since available free chlorine in the solution is basically all HCLO, we hereby refer available free chlorine as "AHCLO" (i.e. active hypochlorous acid).

 

2) ingredients, formula, and components used in producing new generation HCLO water.

After the target pH and target AHCLO are determined, we will provide your unique formula with blend components,  ingredients, and dosage which should meet your product specification.

3) and its packaging method  

Clients can choose mixture in the form of tablet or powder.  Ingredients, dosage, and number of components used for production of tablet vs powder differs.

The Chart 1. on your right, shows the level of Active HCLO in the water with pH level from 4.8 to 8.5.

At pH 6.5, the solution can still maintain relatively high AHCLO of 91.6%, which can kill bacterias and viruses (including Covid-19) almost instantly.  However, at pH above 6.5, AHCLO decreases exponentially. As an example, Panasonic's Ziaino has a pH of 8 and is calculated to have an AHCLO of only about 25.6%.  

 

Please note HCLO molecules above pH 6.5 are unstable and tends to dissociate rather quickly after production.

Panasonic Ziaino

Panasonic's Ziaino has a pH level of approximately 8.  At such pH level, it is calculated to have AHCLO of only 25.6%.  

 

We can design end HCLO water solution pH level between from 4.8 to 6.5 with chlorine concentration of 35 ppm and 100 ppm (or as high as 300 ppm).   For example, if you want a pH 5, HCLO water with AHCLO of 100ppm, we can provide you a tablet or a powder package (of your choice), and the end result of the solution shall be as similar to Sample #1, #2, #3 and #4.

So what is so different about our HCLO water?  

​

Our patented salt tablet (hereinafter referred to as ZHCLO tablet) is produced from natural ingredients from Japan, and is 100 percent safe for human and your beloved pets in case you swallowed it by mistake.  It is chemical free, and non-toxic.

Our formula is designed to produce from wide range of tap water around the World - pH level are between 5.8 to 9.0.  Pure water has pH level of 7.0.   Here are table of pH of water from various sources. W1

 

Our patented ZHCLO tablet when mixed with tap water in a Kashikoina HCLO maker unit, it dissolves quickly to prepare NaCl solution with ideal pH within a minute.  You may flip the container 90 degree back and forth few times to prepare the NaCl solution even faster.  You can start the electrolysis by pressing the START button.  The electrolysis process duration is pre-set at 3 minutes.

The electrolysed solutions produced will have pure hypochlorous acid (basically 100 mole %) with desired concentration.  You can specify at any AHCLO concentration between 35 to 100 ppm, and any pH number between 4.8 to 6.5.  Our HCLO's pH stays constant indefinitely during usage.

​

The product will maintain more than 70% AHCLO at least one week after production, if stored at normal room temperature and away from direct sunlight. 

 

The product will last longer if stored in the refrigerator and/or non-transparent packaging  material. 

​

The end product solution which is pure hypochlorous acid water is also safe for human and your beloved pets.  It is again chemical free, and non-toxic.

​

We can also design tablet and electrolysis unit that can produce pure HCLO solution as high as 300 ppm for professional use such as disinfecting laboratory and surgical equipments.
